Online fashion platform Wears London launches

 

August 1 sees the launch of new online fashion platform Wears London. The site is designed to give customers access to London’s leading fashion markets and new emerging design talent. The site aims to help young London designers competing against high street giants gain access to new markets and expand their customer base. All of the products featured on the site are designed or made locally and many use recycled or up cycled materials. The site features dedicated pages for London’s best-known markets such as Camden and Spitalfields as well as an online boutique for young designers not affiliated with a particular market location. The site currently features the work of over 50 designers including Reborn London, Liberty Kelly, Petits Secrets by CB, Reclaim Bags, Thomas Codd London and others. Each designer has a dedicated profile on the site, through which customers will be able to view and buy their products. There is also a ‘Unique Boutique’ section on the website featuring designers with a single or online boutique in London – a feature intended to support those facing tough competition on the high street. The website is scheduled to go live on August 1.
