VICE Media Group acquires Garage Magazine
Global youth media company and content studio VICE Media has acquired Garage Magazine, the publisher for innovative collaboration and curation across art, architecture, fashion and design. The new partnership sees a new digital channel for the traditionally print-focused title, delivering original video, exclusive news, interviews and events from global players in art, architecture, fashion and design. Garage’s bi-annual magazine will continue to be published, expanding its global footprint alongside the digital channel. The new channel joins VICE’s existing suite of 11 award-winning digital sites including VICE.COM, i-D, Broadly, Noisey, MUNCHIES and Motherboard, and will deliver a range of original editorial and video programming to VICE’s global audience. Garage will expand its editorial teams, with offices based in both New York and London, and roll out further international teams launching local editions.
