Jewellery brand Tatty Devine announces retail expansion
London-based jewellers Tatty Devine has announced a retail expansion this autumn, with new openings set for October at Selfridges Manchester and Irish department store BT2, part of the Brown Thomas group. In addition, Selfridges Birmingham and two-new pop-up stores at Selfridges London will open ahead of the Christmas period. The Tatty Devine Name Necklace Experience, initially a pop-up in Selfridges London, provides customers with the first instant laser cutting name necklace service in the world – allowing customers to watch their name necklace being made on the spot. The now permanent and enlarged concession will also house hand-picked pieces from Tatty Devine’s Seasonal and Classic Collections. October 25, Tatty Devine’s collaboration with British artist Rob Ryan will launch in its own pop-up space on the third floor of Selfridges London. Rob Ryan’s signature intricate paper cuts have been translated by Tatty Devine’s Harriet Vine into sixteen pieces, all hand crafted in London. Each piece will come in a choice of 18-carat gold plated, 18-carat rose-gold plated or sterling silver, and remain exclusive to the store until the new year. Later the same week, Tatty Devine’s new Charm Collection will open as part of the Selfridges Christmas pop up in both London and Birmingham. Customers will be able to choose classic Tatty Devine Charms to make colourful bracelets and necklaces. The Charm Collection will also be introduced to Ireland on November 1 at BT2.
