The British Fashion Council has announced that Suzy Menkes will receive a Special Recognition Award at the British Fashion Awards for her 25 year-long career at the International Herald Tribune, now The International New York Times. Suzy, a graduate of Cambridge University, has been Style Editor since 1988 and previously worked for The Times, The London Evening Standard and the Independent. Suzy holds the Legion d’Honneur in France and a British OBE. The award ceremony is set to take place on December 2 at the London Coliseum.
