Social network TUNEPICS launches
Justin Cooke, founder and CEO of innovate7, launches TUNEPICS, a new social network. Designed by innovate7 and built by AKQA, TUNEPICS is a social application that lets users feature a song with every image that they share, allowing them to capture the emotion behind every moment. TUNEPICS is the first social network that connects multiple senses by combining the power of sound and vision – creating nostalgia and triggering memories. TUNEPICS users can search from over 35 million songs using the iTunes Store, which offers a preview of each song and a direct link to purchase every track instantly, to feature with their images. Brands currently using the social network include Airbnb, AllSaints, ASOS, Dazed Magazine, Hunter, Jamie Oliver, Kate Bosworth, Michael Polish, Paul Smith, Tracy Anderson, will.i.am and emerging talent worldwide. TUNEPICS is exclusively available to download for free from the App Store in over 150 countries for the iPhone and iPad. An Android version is scheduled for release later this year.
