This month sees the launch of Dropit, a new shopping service. On July 19, Regent Street is set to become completely bag-free for the first time in the shopping destination’s history. Dropit, the revolutionary shopping service that offers same-day delivery from the store to your door, aims to make Regent Street the first hands-free street in the UK with the launch of the Dropit service this Sunday. Karin Cabili, Dropit Founder, comments: “Whether you shop at Armani, Gap, Burberry, Hunter or Uniqlo, Dropit revitalises the retail experience and allows the serious shopper to lighten their load and carry on shopping without their bags. Through our partnership with Annie Walker and the Regent Street Association, Dropit is making Regent Street completely hands-free, so visitors are able to enjoy the Summer Streets festivities without the restriction and burden of shopping bags.” Visitors to the Dropit event space will be entertained by new talent DJ Jade with impromptu dance performances. The service may be used by downloading the Dropit mobile app to see which shops offers the service. Customers can then leave  their shopping either in store or at one of the Dropit points located along Regent Street. Bags will then be delivered to a home, hotel or office address at a convenient time.
