Sapphires Model Management launches Artist Division
London-based boutique modelling agency Sapphires Model Management has announced the launch of its new Artists Division in May. Sapphires provide models for clients including Topshop, Vivienne Westwood, Victoria Beckham and Urban Outfitters. Sapphires looks after a diverse range of models and talent, and the new Artists Division will see Sapphires representing professionally trained and experienced actors for TV and film work throughout the UK. Neely Reyes, founder of Sapphires says, “The expansion into artist representation came about because of a change in the way the industry works. We are responding to a growing client need for trained actors and actresses, that have a model aesthetic. Video has also nudged Sapphires into the new offering. Neely continues, “Video is becoming more and more popular with brands using online video as a new channel for marketing and advertising. Video is a great way to capture the customers imagination and requires an expanded skill set for a model. Being able to offer our clients a more developed package of talent was a no brainer.” The Sapphires Model Management Artists Division launch coincides with the launch of Sapphires TV, the agency’s own video channel featuring short fashion films, profile interviews and opinions from Sapphires’ stable of models. Sapphires welcomes Amanda Renberg (pictured) to the books, a Swedish actress who starred in The Ketchup Effect; and Jonnie Nash, a model/actor who starred in Sapphires’ short film, Flame.
