Salvatore Ferragamo Marble limited edition fragrance launches
Salvatore Ferragamo has introduced its new marble limited edition fragrance. Only 368 bottles of Bianco di Carrara EDP have been created worldwide. This launch is exclusive to Harrods in the UK, who have bottles numbered 2 to 51. In Carrara, close to the shore of the Tyrrhenian sea, the purest and most beautiful white marble has been quarried and turned into pieces of art for more than two thousand years. Michelangelo chose the marble blocks to create his masterpieces. Inspired by the rarity and beauty of this material, and true to its longstanding artisanal tradition, today Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates the very essence of this noble stone with Bianco di Carrara parfum limited edition – 368 exclusive numbered flacons, a number recalling the patents that Salvatore Ferragamo registered in various fields during his lifetime. Each cap is made from real Carrara marble with each piece being different and unique, its veins giving it unmatched authenticity. The beauty of the stone, depicted on the body of the flacon, is exalted by shiny gold details and lettering contrasting with its cool natural colour. Maître parfumeur Alexandra Carlin evolves the classic Bianco di Carrara fragrance into a higher, stronger concentration. A new blend of refined ingredients emphasise the excellence of this limited edition parfum. The top notes reveal fresh, woody-sweet tones of juniper berries, which interweave with crisp black pepper and the addictive luminosity of ambrette seeds to provide an unmistakable Mediterranean signature. The smoothness of this fragrance is found in the heart with a flawless fusion of powdery violet, noble orris and soft heliotrope. In the dry down, the tactile, mellow suede quality of cuir velours enhances the sublime sensuality of white oud and cashmere wood, adding depth and charisma. Available exclusively at Harrods in May priced at £395 100ml EDP.
