Roksanda Ilincic to open debut London flagship store

 

International London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic confirms the launch of her debut flagship store at 9 Mount Street in London’s Mayfair, to open in early 2014. The store is situated in a historic Grade 2 listed building, which has been designed in partnership with British architect David Adjaye, with whom the designer has a longstanding working relationship. As celebration of the announcement, Roksanda has partnered with internationally renowned set designer Gary Card on a unique installation, launching in the window of the Mount Street store site today, October 18, to coincide with Frieze Art Fair and to be on display for a further three weeks. The installation incorporates a capsule collection of eight Roksanda Ilincic dresses and separates, inspired by the work of artist Josef Albers, made possible through the designer’s partnership with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
