Raw Material has been appointed to handle PR activity for hat label Stott & Scott. Created by Manchester-based design duo, Jacqueline Taylor and Caroline Kelly, the British label creates a range of reversible rain/sun hats. The reversible Floppy’wester hat, which draws on inspiration from the wide brimmed, floppy chic of the sixties, is made from waxed cotton and lace, and comes in six colourways including nautical red and blue, pink and navy, two tone grey, two tone brown, black with green, and black with plum. Four of the six variations can be machine washed and all of the hats may be rolled up and stored in a handbag. Celebrity fan includes Edith Bowman. The hats are priced between £34.99 and £49.99.
