Premium resort-wear label Wéngko Molé launches

This month sees the launch of new premium resort-wear brand Wéngko Molé. Bridging the gap between accessories and clothing, the London-based brand draws aspiration from hot Eastern cultures. Its debut collection entitled Layers, was conceived by Greek-British designer Christina Pistofidou and has been designed after the qualities of the sarong. The 14-piece collection consists of two styles; a skirt and dress and is made using the finest silk crepe de chine and finished with a bespoke hand-stitched belt. These acrylic cord belts, designed by renowned jewellery designer Eleanor Bolton, come in three colours and are interchangeable. The garments are printed and embroidered in the UK, with belts handmade in India, all whilst sourcing inspiration from Indonesian and other Eastern cultures. Garments are presented in a woven cotton throw with embroidered details which is then rolled and tied with a belt. The website and e-commerce sit will be launched in the coming weeks with wholesale prices starting at £86 for the skirt and £118 for the dress, which both include one belt. Extra belts are priced at £24.
