Orveda announces launch
Green, vegan skincare brand Orveda has announced its launch. Founded by beauty expert Sue Y. Nabi who looked to ancient Ayurvedic, Naturopathic and Chinese traditions, as well as Taoism to creating high-efficacy skin self-healing products that form part of a healthier, holistic approach to life; that do no harm; and, ultimately, support a new vision of beauty. This vision is based beyond the superficial, beyond “anti-aging”, and, instead, on health. Sue selected an enzyme from marine bacteria that, able to survive in the extreme, high-temperature, volcanic waters off the northern coast of California, has the ability to protect the skin’s barrier and restore its natural quality. In addition, a natural prebiotic and Kombucha – bio-fermented black tea (known as “The Long-Life Mushroom” beverage), that provides freshness, clarity and luminosity to skin, Orveda products work on skin barriers, texture, tone and luminosity to naturally activate skin tones and healthy glow. There are 18 products in the range with Healing Sap, an all-in-one restorative toner and serum, that provides skin with a “glow shot” is at the centre of the range.
