Walker+Walker and the V&A announces the launch of Exhibitionist, a new luxury beauty brand. Ange and Vernice Walker, the sister duo behind Walker+Walker, have created Exhibitionist The Love & Romance Collection. The range features an array of bespoke nail colours inspired by the V&A’s fashion exhibition Wedding Dresses 1775– 2014, which showcases the most romantic, glamorous and extravagant wedding dresses from the Museum’s collection. The Exhibitionist’s Love & Romance Collection for the V&A includes six specially commissioned nail colours that capture the traditions and sentiments that surround a wedding – from the classic pearl, blush and violet hues of Halo, Love’s Young Dream and Serendipity to the more vibrant shades of crimson, coral and purple in Unconventional, Wed in Red and Exotica. The bottles are inspired by apothecary jars in the V&A’s collection and come packaged in black grosgrain presentation boxes embossed with silver foil. The collection features two hero products: a Rose Diamond Treatment Basecoat – infused with precious rose oil and fine diamond dust to create a luminous base that nourishes and strengthens the natural nail and, a Sterling Silver Veil Topcoat – to impart a subtle shimmering effect to the nail. Exhibitionist The Love & Romance Collection will be available at the V&A Shop for a limited exclusive period. The collection will launch on May 3 to coincide with the opening of Wedding Dresses 1775–2014. Prices start at £14 for Nail Lacquer, £19.95 for Sterling Silver Veil Topcoat and £16.50 for Rose Diamond Treatment Basecoat.
