Morleys Stores Ltd has announced its grand store opening in Broadway Shopping Centre, Bexleyheath, on April 13, marking the Group’s ninth store with a brand new shopping destination for fashion, beauty and homeware. The Bexleyheath store follows on from their recent redevelopment of Camp Hopson Department & Home store in Newbury, West Berkshire, and plans to take the Group’s annual sales to £120m. Following £3m investment from Morleys, the 40,000 square feet of space previously occupied by BHS has undergone significant renovation, complete with a new store entrance and interiors, hundreds of new brands, beauty houses and a restaurant. The store will span two floors, housing fashion, accessories, beauty, menswear and stationery on the ground floor; with a comprehensive home department on the first floor, comprising ranges of china and glass, electricals, gifts, beds, linens and curtains, together with toys, luggage and haberdashery and Angelica’s Café. Guaranteed to deliver something for everyone, visitors can shop a range of styles from brands and concessions, including: Topshop and Topman, Barbour, Moss Bros, Boss, Oasis, Phase Eight, Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Cath Kidston, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Christy, Ted Baker, Tempur, Dunlopillo, Clinique, Clarins, Estee Lauder and Benefit. ‘Morleys Price Promise’ ensures that products will remain competitively priced on the high street, with cheaper prices being matched or the difference refunded. The Grand Opening will take place at 10am on April 13, with the ribbon to be cut by The Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Eileen Pallen.
