Denim brand, Lee Jeans has announced a new partnership with legendary streetwear photographer Jamal Shabazz. Responsible for capturing the most enduring imagery from the birth of the hip-hop scene, this generation-defining artist has taken Lee’s SS19 offering back to New York. Using the same streets and neighbourhoods that are found in Shabazz’s original book, Back in the Days. To mark the occasion – and as a result of the collaboration between Lee Jeans and Shabazz – Back to Today is set to be released as a limited-edition book of the same title. A celebration and reimagining of 1980’s hip-hop style, this tribute to Back in the Days book will contain the best photographs from Lee’s SS19 campaign.
