La Roche-Posay has announced the launch of Effaclar K[+], an anti-oxidation and anti-sebum moisturising care for oily, blemish-prone skin. Developed with new innovative technology and ingredients including a patented molecule previously used by NASA, it is designed to combat clogged pores and recurrent blackheads, irregular skin texture and shine for a day-long clean, fresh and healthy skin feel. For the first time, Effaclar K[+] combines a potent anti-oxidant duo with anti-sebum Airlicium and micro-exfoliant LHA to offer a high technology formula of active ingredients that work in synergy to tackle sebum and oxidation at its source. This new addition to the Effaclar range works at the skins surface with vitamin E and carnosine to offer anti-oxidant protection to tackle sebum and skin oxidation at its source; and airlicium, a patented light molecule composed of 99% air and 1% silica to leave skin mattified and soft for an eight hour anti-sebum efficacy in the most extreme conditions for a clean skin feel and touch. The product also works under the skin with LHA and salicylic acid, as well as sebulyse to elimate dead cells, cleanse, reduce sebum production, unclog pores and stop them becoming blocked again.
