Jean Patou Parfums has announced the launch of its Heritage Collection. An exclusive collection of three historical perfumes from the Jean Patou fragrance archives have been selected by in-house perfumer Thomas Fontaine for their character, charm and timeless appeal. The scents include: Vacances (1936), a powdery green floral with a bouquet of galbanum and mimosa in the top note that merges into the opulence of rose, jasmine and lilac before evolving toward a musky base tinged with hyacinth and styrax; Colony (1938), a green fruity floral bouquet with bergamot, orange and pineapple in the top note, with a burst of jasmine, rose, nutmeg and clove over a warm base of leather, amber, vetiver and patchouli; and L’Heure Attendue (1946), a spicy woody oriental with top notes of neroli, aldehyde and mandarin, leading into a heart of rose, jasmine, ylang and peach over a base of sandalwood, amber, opoponax and patchouli. To celebrate this exclusive launch in Harrods during the period May 17-31 customers purchasing any of the new Heritage Collection will receive a complimentary Jean Patou Collection De Parfums worth £55 containing four miniatures. The Heritage Collection is priced at £150 each.
