Hearst UK, the leading premium publisher, has today announced the winners of its inaugural Big Book initiative, an awards and accreditation scheme aimed at discovering the best new fiction and non-fiction titles in UK publishing.

Recognising categories such as Crime, Wellbeing, Women Writers and Page Turners, Hearst received submissions from 44 publisher imprints, including small independents as well as the major houses. Using a unique judging structure, submitted books were then read and marked by a combination of magazine editors, industry experts and Hearst’s readers – the top scoring books revealing both the Shortlist and now the Winning titles.
