H.AZEEM London partners with The Louvre Museum
Luxury jewellery brand H.AZEEM London has announced its partnership with the The Louvre Museum. Known for their extraordinary jewellery designs that are a perfect blend of eastern and western influences, H.AZEEM London will work in partnership with the Louvre to create a stunning collection of bespoke jewellery pieces for the prestigious Louvre’s Iznik and Ottoman Ceramic collections. For Hinna, this is a dream come true having fallen in love with the historic beauty of the Ottoman Empire’s architecture, especially the charming intricacy that decorates the hustle and bustle of touristic places like the Grand Bazaar in central Istanbul. It was there that she found an Ottoman-inspired tea set that had the traditional colours and geometric style that was both immediately beautiful and spoke of 700 years worth of culture and artistry. Channelling her adoration of this tea set, she has created a collection of jewellery pieces that glow with gemstones commonly found in the Ottoman Empire: red garnet, turquoise and peridot glitter and shine amid geometric shapes and settings. The Ottoman Empire evokes connotations of impeccable craftsmanship, exquisite colours and patterns and a distinctive exotic flair. Hinna’s designs are a reminder of a beautiful history yet are perfectly wearable for today’s woman. Hinna was highly motivated to initiate this partnership, she herself lived in Paris in her early 20’s and fell in love with interesting meeting of cultures and artistic styles. Although London allowed her to flourish as a designer and build her business, her heart was always set on a partnership with one of Europe’s leading institutions of art, culture and history. This collaboration is another jewel in the crown of H.AZEEM’s long standing track record of partnering with some of the most prestigious institutions in the world. Hinna has built collections for Royal Houses and museums across Europe and has her sights set outside of this region next. H.AZEEM London’s collaborative collection with the Louvre will be launched in April, available exclusively at The Louvre Museum.
