The Graduate Fashion Foundation charity has announced that it will be running a series of 2019 UK and International masterclasses in partnership with Ralph Lauren. During the GFF tour they will be visiting five UK host universities and colleges across the UK and in total 18 Graduate Fashion Week UK member universities will have the opportunity to benefit from the advice and information presented from Ralph Lauren and the GFF teams. Then for the first time, Ralph Lauren representatives will be flying onto Italy where they will continue their tour with two Italian fashion institutes. Alongside these masterclasses, representatives of Ralph Lauren will be interviewing and viewing portfolios from second year students for paid opportunities at the company’s New York headquarters next summer. The Graduate Fashion Foundation offers the opportunity to scout top students from their pool of talent at member universities. These extra-curricular professional talks provide much needed preparation for the undergraduates and key tips on life after graduation, helping them make the most of the opportunities on offer, as well as the best way to present their work, speak to recruiters and secure jobs. They will include discussions on; marketing & PR career paths, how to success at GFW, CV advice, what makes a good graduate collection, digital and social promotional tips.
