Floral Street wins Retailer of the Year at the 2019 Fragrance Foundation UK Awards
The 2019 Fragrance Foundation UK Awards took place last night at The Brewery in the City of London, with Floral Street winning ‘Retailer of the Year’, coming up against some of the world’s most famous brands including Harrods, Miller Harris and Roja Parfums. The Fragrance Foundation, whose mission is to inspire the world to discover the artistry and passion of fragrance, set up these awards in the UK in 1992 to recognise excellence within the Fragrance arena.
Floral Street was set up 18 months ago by Michelle Feeney, a doyenne of the beauty industry, with the aim of making luxury scents within the fragrance industry accessible and sustainable. Starting from its store in Covent Garden, this 100% vegan brand with its recyclable, compostable and reusable packaging has had an incredible start. A British company with an entirely British supply-chain, it is stocked in 6 John Lewis stores including Oxford Street, with a flagship store in Covent Garden and a presence in Australia and New Zealand, as well as 6 countries across Europe with further global roll-out planned for the Autumn.
