This week sees the launch of Fashion on the Ration. This new range of quirky and fashion orientated products is launching at the Imperial War Museum, alongside the Fashion on the Ration exhibition which opens tomorrow. The exhibition takes a look at how fashion survived and flourished under the strict rules of rationing in 1940s Britain. The products within the range are inspired by this theme and include retro pocket mirrors, back to basics beauty, craft sets to make your own fashion garments, and ideas to help bring the make do and mend ethos into the modern day. The exhibition runs until August 31, 2015 – see Fashion and Beauty Insight Events.
