ESPA announces major new changes to promote sustainability and naturality
Almost 28 years after ESPA’s signature Tri-Active™ blend was created and the first ESPA Spa opened its doors, ESPA has announced three major new changes that reinforce its expertise as a premium, natural and environmentally-friendly skincare brand. First, ESPA has released details of the significant steps it has taken to increase sustainability throughout its packaging and operations. Second, ESPA has enhanced the quality of its formulations by achieving COSMOS Natural Certifications; introducing Vegan-friendly formulas; and extending the Tri-Active™ blend across all of its products. Third, to complement ESPA’s new monogram, modern packaging design and a refreshed colour palette have been launched today alongside simplified new product categories, including three new age-defying product ranges. “2020 marks a brand new era for ESPA. We are now continuing our evolution, reinforcing our expertise as a premium, natural spa and skincare brand. ESPA is a brand of rich heritage, integrity and quality. We have decided to introduce independent certifications to aid customers in selecting products that align with values they believe in. A variety of our product range will be registered with the Vegan and Vegetarian societies, as well as carrying COSMOS Natural and FSC certifications to demonstrate our commitment to naturality and sustainability. We have decided to make these changes to clarify our range architecture, so customers can easily navigate our product categories. We have also taken further steps to decrease our impact on the planet. We have removed excess plastic from our packaging, our tubes are now made from post-consumer resin plastic material and our product caps and glass components are 100% recyclable”. – ESPA General Manager, Danny Golby.
