Ada Zanditon, Beautiful Soul and David Longshaw among designers requested to create animal masks for charity Elephant Family

 

Conservation charity Elephant Family have become well recognised for their successful art-lead fundraising projects and this year they are hosting the masked Animal Ball at Lancaster House in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. The Animal Ball has asked an eclectic range of top artists, fashion houses and jewellers to create animal masks which the guests will wear to the ball. Ada Zanditon, Beautiful Soul and David Longshaw were asked to participate by creating masks that will be displayed alongside others including DVF, Mario Testino, Faberge and Philip Treacy. Each designer has been asked to  create two masks which represent the many endangered species in the world including butterflies, rhinos, pandas, big cats, monkeys and of course elephants. Sotheby’s will host an exhibition of the Animal Ball masks from May 10 to 15 which will be for sale to guests of The Animal Ball.
