Dulux Let’s Colour Awards shortlist announced
Dulux has announced its shortlist for the Let’s Colour Awards 2014, a celebration of the most innovative uses of colour across Britain’s creative industries and events. Amongst the nominees are London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle, fashion designer Sophia Webster and Art on the Underground, a collection of art launched by the London Underground to mark its 150th anniversary. Designers, brands, retailers and products in the fashion and beauty industry also include Sophia Webster (pictured), WAH Nails, Roksanda Ilinic, Ryan Lo, Molly Goddard and Alex Box. Nominees span a breadth of industries and fields, with the seven categories including fashion, beauty, technology and design, the arts, homes and interiors as well as the wider cultural scene. This year’s line up of judges includes Glamour magazine’s Editor Jo Elvin; Sandie Dawe MBE, Chief Executive of VisitBritain; Chloe Macintosh, Creative Director of Made.com; Jimmy Macdonald, Founder of design show TENT London as well as the Dulux Colour and Design team of experts. Additionally, this year for the first time the Colour Moment of the Year category is being opened for public voting, allowing the British public to choose their favourite colour moment of 2013. To vote, the public should visit the Dulux website and ‘like’ their chosen nominee. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in March 2014.
