SISTER by SIBLING and Phillip Treacy among fashion designers selected to create Disney inspired outfit

 

On 23rd March 2012, Disneyland Paris will hold a European fashion show to launch the park’s 20th Anniversary Extended celebration. Designers from nine European countries including SISTER by SIBLING (UK), Phillip Treacy (Ireland) and Custo Barcelona (Spain) will present outfits inspired by the park’s Disney Dreams! show. SISTER by SIBLING will be showing for the UK with a unique twist on Disney’s Cinderella animation. The design trio who specialise in couture knit-wear and recently showed at London Fashion Week AW13 will present an outfit inspired by Cinderella’s three mice friends Jack, Gus and Mary – representing the three designers Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery in their inimitable Sibling style. The final creation will feature an extended knitted mini, hand-embroidery by Laura Lees and  high-tops with a hint of customised sparkle. The final creation will be shown in a catwalk show at Disneyland Paris alongside the other European designers including Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, who has created a bespoke dress for Minnie Mouse to wear to the event. The ‘Designers of Dreams’ fashion show will take place in Disneyland Paris on Saturday 23rd March 2012 to mark the launch of Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Extended celebration.
