David Watson collaborates with William Morris

David Watson has collaborated with the William Morris family to create an exclusive collection. Founder and creative director, Samuel Petty works with British artists to collaborate with and create pieces that can be worn for any occasion. William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist. Associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement, he was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. The scarves and pocket squares are made from silk twill with hand rolled hems.  The material used is printed in Brighton and Shropshire and local artisan seamstresses hand-roll the hems.  The pieces are made using 100% silk with prices: Pocket Squares – £45 (31 x 31cm), Square Scarf – £160 (100 x 100cm). Cotton / silk mix prices: Pocket Squares – £30 (40 x 40cm) and Square Scarf – ££85 (90 x 90cm). The scarves come in gift boxes.
