Condé Nast Traveller announces the launch of its Mandarin Expert Guide to Shopping in London. Devoted exclusively to the discerning Chinese traveller, this debut AW13 issue coincides with ‘Golden Week’, one of the main Chinese holiday periods, available from October 1. An upscale and comprehensive luxury shopping guide, the editorial focuses on key areas of London including Knightsbridge & Chelsea, Mayfair & Covent Garden, Notting Hill and Marylebone. Containing fashion, beauty, jewellery and watch news, a guide to the Capital’s top hotels, restaurants and department stores as well as the best places for afternoon tea, other highlights of the debut issue include profiles of Christopher Bailey and Queen Elizabeth II, a look at British style icons, and for those wishing to take a break and explore further afield, an article on Edinburgh. Available in over 140 key hotels in and around London including Claridge’s, The Bulgari, The Dorchester and The Goring, as well as across high-end stores on Bond Street and Sloane Street, the magazine will also be distributed via inbound flights and airport lounges from Shanghai and Beijing, on airlines including LBA, Virgin, China Eastern and China Southern airlines, among Chinese tour operators, London Business and foreign language schools, key corporation head offices in central London, and at Bicester Village. This Mandarin edition will be bi-annual, with the Spring/Summer edition available next year tying in with Chinese New Year.
