Clinique has announced the launch of its Smart Treatment Oil, a lightweight oil infused with anti-ageing ingredients that help to deeply condition dry, damaged skin. This nourishing, non-greasy oil leaves skin instantly radiant, and feeling smooth, while potent antioxidants work over time to help shield against harmful free radical damage. Key ingredients include safflower, sesame and sunflower seed oils that condition and nourish dry, mature skin; clary extract, which helps strengthen the barrier of the skin by supporting the skin’s production of epidermal lipids; barley extract, wheat germ extract, and vegetable squalane which help strengthen skin’s barrier, thus helping to better retain moisture over time; pomegranate sterols, which help strengthen skin’s barrier by helping to fill in lost intercellular lipids that are critical to maintaining its structural integrity; commiphora mukul resin extract which helps skin maintain plumpness; argan kernel oil which is rich in natural lipids, antioxidants and vitamin E; and cranberry seed oil to defend skin against damage caused by daily assaults such as environmental irritants.
