British homewares brand Magpie has announced the launch of its Ahoy! range. Distinctly mid-century in style, Ahoy! features a host of marine characters and graphic maritime motifs illustrated in a palette of blue, seagreen and white. Illustrations include whale, lobster, fish, sailboat, anchor and lighthouse across a collection of Mugs, Side Plates, Espresso Cups & Saucers, Bamboo Fibre Tray duo, Coasters, Tall Storage Tins, Tea Towels, Glassware, iPhone 5 Case, Notebook duo, Wash and Make Up Bag duo, Greetings Cards and Giftwrap. Additionally, the brand has announced a collaboration with Sussex-based artist, Mark Greco to create Coast, which takes its influence from Britain’s 19,500 mile coastline, and the variety of seabirds that inhabit its shores. Illustrated in a muted palette of natural shoreline shades, the collection is made up of four avian characters, Puffin, Sandpiper, Oystercatcher and Common Tern, each perching, feeding or flying within their aquatic habitats. The collection includes Mugs, set of 4 Side Plates, set of 4 Espresso Cups & Saucers, pack of 2 Tea Towels, Wash and Make Up Bag duo. Prices range from £2 to £22.50 for Ahoy! and £8.50 to £22.50 for Coast. Magpie will also preview its new homewares range (pictured), The Modern Home, at Pulse trade show this month, which launches in July.
