Following London Collections: Men Coffin on Cake PR are proud to announce working with elite military footwear outfitters Bates, tasked by the brand to communicate their story and partnership with menswear designer Martine Rose on her AW13 collection presentation.

 

Founded in 1885 Bates is the key supplier of uniform footwear to the U.S Department of Defence and U.S Military and has grown and flourished as a result of the Brand’s advancements in footwear technologies and unwavering commitment to those on the frontline who depend on their products. The military references and function of the uniform footwear label worked in parallel to the Martine Rose AW13 collection, which featured a selection of Bates’ innovative and superior products.  Speaking on sourcing Bates, Martine said: The partnership with Bates came across really organically. With military providing the fundamental theme across most menswear and function being key for Martine Rose as a brand a partnership with Bates became almost inevitable. Developing and extending the utilitarian approach as the Martine Rose boy has matured, the military references from Bates compliment the collection perfectly."
