ASICS has launched a limited-edition rugby jersey to commemorate the centenary of the late Nelson Mandela’s birth. With only 500 shirts made globally, a limited number will be available to rugby fans in the UK. The intricate green and gold design, which is inspired by his famous patterned shirts, will also be worn this weekend by the Springbok Sevens Team ‘Blitzbokke’ at the upcoming Cape Town edition of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series to honour South Africa’s revolutionary leader.
