Scotland Re:Designed (SR:D) calls for applications for this year’s New Talent Award. The Award recognises the high standard of talent emerging from graduates and young designers based or from Scotland. This year its partner is Zero Waste Scotland’s Love Your Clothes Campaign which will offer the successful applicant a grant award which includes funding, professional mentoring and travel opportunities. In previous years the award has gone to designers Obscure Couture and Mairi McDonald (pictured), both of whom have gone on to be selected for the main SR:D Showcase. Applications should be made online by November 14, 14:00.
