Social shopping site Styloko has announced the appointment of Shannon Edwards as CEO for global business, effective November 5. Shannon joins Styloko with clear objectives; to raise awareness and grow the business globally, particularly with retailers and partners. Most recently, Edwards has been a consultant to high fashion focused projects including Fashion Rocks Worldwide, Isabella Oliver Ltd, Bay Garnett and Vestiaire Collective. In 2008 Shannon joined ShopStyle Europe as Vice President and Managing Director and launched the business in the UK before France and Germany in 2009. She grew the Europe fan base to more than 2 million monthly unique users and over three thousand fashion brands and retailers. Styloko is a digital shopping tool / service that learns what you like as you browse and then presents the items and the styles that you want to see. Styloko users can add products to their virtual boutiques either from Styloko’s own website, which aggregates almost 700,000 products from nearly every major UK retailer or from any other site across the web – simply by using their browser button.
