sk:n, the UK’s leading medical skincare group, has appointed a new Chief Marketing Officer, Gavin Hawthorne. Hawthorne, who is based at sk:n head office in Birmingham is a vastly experienced marketeer who, prior to this position, rose to become Group Director of Relationship Marketing at Pets at Home. Gavin spent over six years at Pets at Home, where he championed customer insight and spearheaded their award-winning loyalty programme, the VIP Club. Prior to this, Gavin was responsible for creation, development and implementation of CRM and loyalty strategies at Whitbread hotels.

In his new role at sk:n, Gavin will focus on delivering business growth via customer retention and acquisition and develop the clinic group’s leadership positioning in a period of expansion and growth.
