Evening Standard has announced the promotions of Simon Barker to News Production Editor and Fiona Roberts to Assistant Editor (Production), following the retirement of David Lucas at the end of May. Lauren Davis has also joined the Evening Standard as Assistant News Chief Sub-Editor. ESI Media has announced the promotion of Will Gore from Deputy Managing Editor to Executive Editor of the Independent. He will continue to liaise with Group Managing Editor Doug Wills on editorial compliance and ethics issues. Jeannette Arnold is joining the Evening Standard as Assistant Managing Editor working with Doug Wills.
