Skincare brand Algenist has announced today the appointment of Rose Fernandez, current Senior Vice President, as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Fernandez will be taking over the position previously held by Frederic Stoeckel, who played a critical role in the creation and success of Algenist. Stoeckel will continue to serve an important role in the company as a member of the Algenist board. Fernandez has been with Algenist since 2016, working alongside Stoeckel on strategies to drive business and brand awareness. She has over 20 years of diverse experience in skincare sales, brand marketing and digital expertise – previously holding leadership roles at Jurlique, Kate Somerville and Murad.
