Design and style magazine Wallpaper* has announced the winners of the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2016 (in association with Official Panerai). These awards honour and celebrate the world’s most exciting and life enhancing products and places, creations and innovations. Judges included Eddie Redmayne (Academy Award-winning actor), Delfina Delettrez (fine jewellery designer), David Adjaye (architect), George Lois (art director, designer and author), Konstantin Grcic (industrial designer) and Patricia Urquiola (architect and designer). Winners of the Judges’s Awards 2016 included Best Domestic Design – Serif’ TV, by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, for Samsung; Designers of the Year – Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec; Best New Restaurant – Juana La Loca Bogotá; Best New Hotel – Aman, Tokyo; Best New Private House – Lattice House, India, by Sameep Padora & Associates; Best New Public Building – Fondazione Prada, Italy, by OMA; Best City – Copenhagen; Best New Grooming Product – Misoka.ISM toothbrush, by Kosho Ueshima; Best Men’s Fashion Collection (AW15) – Ermenegildo Zegna Couture; Best Women’s Fashion Collection (AW15) – Céline; and Life Enhancer of the Year – Apple Watch Hermès, by Apple and Hermès.
