Mercieca appointed to manage launch campaign for new app Supper
Supper, a new app designed to deliver home-cooked meals to busy Londoners at affordable prices, has appointed Mercieca to handle the PR around its launch. The Camden-based agency is tasked with delivering a targeted consumer campaign, helping Supper raise its profile by building awareness and driving trial following the launch. Available across IOS and Android devices, the free app offers a quick and easy solution for those who want a homemade nutritious meal but lack the time and inspiration to cook from scratch. A network of certified chefs and cooks will be creating their own recipes and meals in their own kitchen and their own time. All recipes must adhere to a strict set of criteria for calorie, fat and salt content, helping improve people’s diets. The chefs are supported by a team of dedicated delivery drivers who will transport the meals directly to customers’ doorsteps. Initially, Supper’s services will be available in the London boroughs of Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Richmond-upon-Thames, Hammersmith & Fulham and Lambeth. However there are plans to rapidly expand the cover area, with the aim to cater to the whole of London in four years’ time.
