August sees the launch of a debut fragrance from fashion brand Miu Miu. Drawing on Prada’s inspiration, perfumer Daniela Andrier creates a study in contrast. She starts with a sensual floral, lily of the valley, composed of real jasmine, real rose absolute, and synthetic green notes. The soft, fresh, ingénue scent is set against a deep earth-toned background: the wood and pepper of Akigalawood, an extract of patchouli. The bottle features a soft blue-pillowed opaque glass, reminiscent of Miu Miu’s signature matelassé, with a white matte collar and translucent red disk. The campaign features actress Stacy Martin, shot by renowned photographer Steven Meisel. MIU MIU is priced at £48 (30ml), £66 (50ml) and £92 (100ml) available exclusively at Harrods from August 1 and nationwide from September 1.
