The Communications Store handles The Conran Shop
The Communications Store has been appointed by The Conran Shop as its retained communications agency in the UK, with immediate effect. The Communications Store will embark on a strategic communications programme to reinforce the iconic British brand’s position as the leading lifestyle retailer in Europe, while growing its reach and authority. Founded by Sir Terence Conran in 1974, The Conran Shop’s roots are in London, where it was responsible for the revival of the historic Michelin building on the Fulham Road, Chelsea. During the past three years, the business has been given a new direction and energy with Jasper Conran at the helm as Chairman and Creative Director. The Conran Shop, with stores in Chelsea, Marylebone, Paris and Japan, continues to offer its customers a covetable edit of furniture, lighting, home accessories and gifts from some of the most iconic and up-and-coming designers from around the world. The Communications Store will act as an extension of The Conran Shop’s own press and marketing team, working on a long-term multi-platform strategy directed by Jasper Conran. The programme, led by the Lifestyle Division at The Communications Store, will consist of strategic planning and implementation, media relations, ambassador alignments, and digital and design consultancy. The team will also lead The Conran Shop into a new phase during London Design Festival this September, beginning with a major announcement in the coming weeks.
