    Atkinsons of London adds to Legendary Collection

    Atkinsons of London has announced the launch of three new Eaux de Toilette in its Legendary Collection. Originally created in its inter-war years, these old scents have been updated in its traditional signature style. Love in Idleness, The Excelsior Bouquet and Amber Empire are three highly distinctive fragrances that have now been reinvented. The Excelsior Bouquet (1919), created by perfumer Benoist Lapouza contains notes of grapefruit, flint accord, aldehydes, sage, nutmeg, Sichuan pepper, vetiver, tonka beans and leather accord. Love in Idleness (1922), created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin contains notes of raspberry and violet leaves, violet flower, orris and heliotrope, with tree moss and patchouli. Amber Empire (1927), created by perfumer Maurice Roucel contains notes of bergamot, oolong tea accord and Chinese magnolia, sandalwood, myrrh, incense, vanilla and white musk. The new scents are available from June 1 priced at £100 (100ml) in Harrods.
