Hearst Magazines UK has announced additions to its Communications team. Following the appointment of Lisa Quinn as Director of Communications in January, Hearst has appointed Karen Meachen as Head of PR. Currently Head of PR for Cosmopolitan and Red, Karen moves into a central role to become Head of PR across the whole business. The team will also be strengthened by the hire of Ben Bolton as PR Manager later this month. Ben joins Hearst from Rightster where he is currently Corporate Communications Manager. Hearst is also currently recruiting a PR Executive. The Communications team will be responsible for developing and communicating the corporate communications strategy for Hearst Magazines UK, as well as executing strategic consumer PR campaigns for each of its 26 brands.
