HANRO launches ready-to-wear womenswear line ERIC & ME
HANRO has announced the launch of its new ready-to-wear womenswear collection ERIC & ME. The first ERIC & ME collection for autumn/winter 2015 launches in store September 2015. The brand name is inspired by Hanro’s first ready-to-wear collections back in the 1930s designed and led by by siblings Madeleine and Eric Handschin who took over the family business in 1933 and launched a line in women’s wear which ran until the 1980s. HANRO is known worldwide for luxury lingerie, nightwear and loungewear and the new launch marks an exciting stage in the brand’s history as they revisit an area not produced by HANRO for over three decades. The new brand is synonymous with contemporary fashion, clean design and high-end natural materials. With ERIC & ME, HANRO combines its 130 years of brand DNA and knowhow with modern design, luxurious fabrics and highest quality finish in typical HANRO style. The look is minimalistic and self-confident, offering fashionable, premium styles in sophisticated cuts with smart design details. The new ERIC & ME collection comprises 43 styles and covers tops, shirts, pullovers, jackets, blazer, skirts, dresses, trousers, a scarf and a belt. The main focus is on highest-quality jersey styles from premium cotton, wool or cashmere blends, with refined details from silk or leather; soft flowing silk tops and modern sweatshirts or chunky knit looks. The palette of colours offers subtle winter shades like olive, fresh nude rose, accents of Bordeaux, and an eye-catching print on silk.
