French skincare brand Eau Thermale Avéne has announced the launch of Cleanance Expert. This daily moisturiser offers a gentle formula, suitable for sensitive skin sufferers looking to prevent and treat adult acne. It works by targeting the main causes of acne including hyperseborrea, excess sebum production; hyperkeratinization, an excess of dead skin cells, that can clog pores; and proliferation of P. acnes, acne causing bacteria, which feed off excess sebum and can infect the pores causing inflammation and spots. The Cleanance Expert formula combines three active ingredients including Diolényl, Monolaurin and X-Pressin to reduce sebum protection and exfoliate the skin. The oil-free, hydrating cream is rich in the signature Avène Thermal Spring Water, a naturally active soothing source for sensitive skin, formulated in the village of Avène, in the south west of France. Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Expert launches in January 2015 priced at £15.
