NARS celebrates Guy Bourdin with Holiday Colour Collection

 

NARS Founder and Creative Director François Nars celebrates fashion photographer Guy Bourdin’s legacy with an entire collection. The limited edition Holiday Colour Collection features bold colour and high-impact finishes in shades inspired by his work. François Nars has honored Bourdin’s lasting influence in multiple collections, with colours, shade names, and campaign imagery taking inspiration from the photographer and his work. For Holiday 2013, Bourdin’s influence is present in all aspects of the limited edition collection, from products and packaging, to colours and shade names. The collection features Cinematic Eyeshadow (£18.00), a new formulation created exclusively for the NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection, this Eyeshadow has a velvety soft texture that glides on smoothly for high-impact colour and statement-making effects. Limited-edition shades were created exclusively for the collection including Wishful Thinking (blue), Bad Behavior (pewter), Rage (orchid), Cambodia (pink copper), and Mississippi Mermaid (champagne). Cinematic Lipstick (£18.50) offers a new lipstick formula created exclusively for the NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection, featuring creamy Monoï butter and vitamin E, which offer moisturising and antioxidant / anti-ageing properties. All shades are new and limited edition for the collection including Future Red (cherry), Short Circuit (coral), Last Tango (rose), Goodbye Emmanuelle (pink), and Full Frontal (rose violet). The collection of Blush (£21.50) hues feature the iconic shade Exhibit A, inspired by the photographer, and two new shades created exclusively for the NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection. Exhibit A is available in matte and vivid red; Coeur Battant is available in magenta; and Day Dream is available in peachy pink. NARS Nail Polish (£14.50) features an advanced polymer system that provides extended wear and a durable, chip-resistant finish; available in Tomorrow’s Red (scarlet), Follow Me (fuchsia), Union Libre (pink), and No Limits (pink violet). The NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection is available from November 1 nationwide.
