Bench unveils global campaign and project #lovemyhood

Bench has announced the launch of its global campaign and project #lovemyhood. In celebration of the hood being an integral piece of each and every Bench collection since they began back in Manchester in the late 1980’s, #lovemyhood takes to London for the latest installment of a global campaign and project. Focusing on the blogger and how they have become a formidable part of the fashion landscape, the UK concept turns the lenses of bloggers and young influencers alike back on themselves by inviting them to be photographed or illustrated by one of four artists and photographers including: Andrew Khosravani, Dominic Marley, Rebel Yuth aka John Speed, and Stew Capper. Each artist has captured the portrait of 16 young bloggers and influencers selected for their discerning taste and style. Both have worked collaboratively to interpret an iconic piece of Bench apparel – the hoody – into an image that defines and reflects their experience of London, the city they live and work in. The Unisexmode, Snoochie Shy, Pause Magazine, Talk Casuals, Buckets & Spades, Portrait of a Dreamer, Hi Fashion, Diary of a Clothes Horse, I Am NRC & Apparently Magazine are just some of the talent involved in the resulting artwork that will be officially launched at a private view exhibition later this month – see Fashion and Beauty Insight Events.
