Following the successful launch of its new Covent Garden flagship store earlier this month, The Cambridge Satchel Company has announced it will be opening two pop-up stores in Scotland this month. The stores, located in Edinburgh and Glasgow, are the first for the brand in Scotland, with its two other stores located in London and its hometown of Cambridge. Officially opening on November 8, the 883 sq. ft. Edinburgh store is located on George Street and will see the brand’s first ever bricks and mortar store, previously in Covent Garden’s Shorts Garden, transported to a new setting. The two-storey 1,921 sq. ft. Glasgow store will officially open on November 15 and is located on Royal Exchange Square. Open seven days a week, the stores will stock a range of the company’s best-selling core collections including Classic Satchels, Batchels and Music Bags. Both stores will also feature exclusive in-store collections and a selection of the company’s new Pre-Spring 2015 Collection. The brand’s new men’s styles will also be available. Opening in time for the festive shopping period, both stores will offer an in-house embossing service, offering customers a chance to personalise their satchels either for themselves or as a Christmas gift. Gift cards and a gift-wrapping service will also be available. Hartmann Media has been appointed by The Cambridge Satchel Company to handle the launch of its two store openings in Scotland. This special project will see Hartmann Media working with the brand until December 2014.
