Wendy Dagworthy to judge STEAMCREAM Design A Tin competition

 

Co-founder of London Fashion Week and Head of Fashion at Central St. Martins & Royal College of Art, Wendy Dagworthy, OBE, will sit on the judging panel of STEAMCREAM’s annual design competition, alongside the STEAMCREAM creative team with the aim of finding undiscovered talent and a new design for a limited edition tin. STEAMCREAM’s global competition offers artists, graphic designers, photographers and budding design enthusiasts of all forms, levels and backgrounds the opportunity to see their design transformed into one of their iconic aluminium skincare tins through their Design a Tin competition. The winning design will become one of the iconic, collectable tins to go on sale in Selfridges, John Lewis and ASOS in 2014. Wendy will join STEAMCREAM’s Directors and Founders Victoria Tydeman, Alison Hawksley & Shizuka Tagami in drawing up a short list of four finalists.  The competition launches through the brand’s Facebook page on September 30. STEAMCREAM will open up the decision making process to its Facebook fans to select a fifth finalist to join the shortlist via public vote. The panel of judges will announce the overall winner on November 8.
