The fifth annual Cosmopolitan Blog Awards, in association with Next, took place yesterday evening at Oxo2. The awards, which honour exceptional talent in the blogosphere, attracted over 46,500 nominations, which were then drawn up to a shortlist of 125 blogs by Cosmopolitan’s senior editorial team. The team, together with 28,000 readers, voted once again to decide on the final winners. The winners for 2014 are: Best Established Beauty Blog – Miss Budget Beauty; Best New Beauty Blog – Alice in Beautyland; Best Established Fashion Blog – GLITZNGRIME; Best New Fashion Blog – The Pixie Cut; Best International Fashion Blog – Style Me Curvy; Best Lifestyle Blog – Fitness on Toast; Best Travel Blog sponsored by Thomson – Stories My Suitcase Could Tell; Best Wedding Blog – So You’re Getting Married; Best Food Blog – The Loveliest Food; Best Interiors Blog sponsored by Next – The Fairytale Pretty Picture; Best Vlog sponsored by Remington – Fleur De Force; and Best Next Newcomer Award – The Ugly Face of Beauty.
